Before applying the powder coating to any metal substrate, we’ve undergone a Zinc Phosphate pre-treatment in order to improve the overall resistance against corrosion of the finished part.
Zinc Phosphate is a non-toxic white pigment featuring corrosion protection and adhesion capability. It is insoluble in water, soluble in acids, and ammonium hydroxide. Pre-treatment methods of substrate used prior to coatings for steel, aluminum, and other metals.
